How it started, how it's going, where it's headed

Madeloats was born at the intersect of a busy lifestyle working in Wall Street trading Emerging Markets, training for a marathon, having a 9 month baby still being breastfed, while also being completely unyielding when it comes to my diet and that of my daughter.
I was dissatisfied with the market offering for healthy baby snacks and thus resorted to baking all of my daughter's snacks for the week myself despite my lack of time.
I would bake her oats with different flavours in some Madeleine trays I had at home because they were an easy and compact option for a snack I could take with me anywhere - playdates, restaurants, flights, trains, or simply a healthy option at home I could bake on Sunday and keep on the fridge for a busy week ahead.
My daughter is also allergic to egg, so whenever she'd go on playdates, I needed her to have her own snack that was as appealing as everything else that the other babies were having! That proved to be so successful with her that tears run down her cheeks every time they're over.
That is when I came up with the idea of Madeloats - Madeleines made of oats. Simple. Healthy. Easy. Compact. Transportable. Storable. Fun. Delicious.
